The Warrior Keeping the Cyber Space Safe: Dr. Karnika Seth

The growing criminal activities and complexities marking the cyberspace gave rise to the fascinating combination of technology and law. The cyber lawyers are the new age cyber warriors fighting to protect the domain from the legal end.

One such warrior who has established herself at the forefront when it comes to protecting the laws of the cyber space is Dr. Karnika Seth, Owner, Seth Associates Advocates & Legal Consultants, a leading Indian law firm.

Dr. Seth is an accomplished author and policy maker, and contributes to various working group consultations aimed at designing policies for emerging technologies. She is also associated with various industry bodies, including NASSCOM, DSCI, ASSOCHAM and is highly recommended as a law enforcement and corporate educator on cyberlaws.

Her exemplary contributions in the field of cyberlaw has won her several accolades, including the National Gaurav Award. She was also conferred the Digital Empowerment Award and the Law Day Award from the Chief Justice of India for her book ‘Protection of Children on Internet’. She also received the Law Day Award for her book ‘Computers, Internet & New Technology Laws’.

Dr. Seth is Associate Member of AEA International, Bar Council of Delhi, India, FICCI, Indo Italian Chamber of Commerce & other Chambers.
